Are your asthma symptoms interfering with your daily activities?
Asthma symptoms can prevent you from taking part in activities you enjoy, and decrease your overall satisfaction with daily life. Asthma is caused by airway obstruction or inflammation and can lead to symptoms like coughing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and wheezing. These symptoms may interfere with your ability to continue your normal daily activities.

Symptoms that require you to use your fast-acting inhaler more than twice a week may be a sign that your asthma is not under control. Studies have shown people living with asthma that is not under control are 6 times more likely to be hospitalized multiple times a year for dangerous symptoms.

It is important to think about how asthma symptoms may be impacting you. Your doctor may decide it is time to try a different medication to help control your asthma symptoms.
