If a dose is missed, take the next dose at the scheduled time. Do not double the dose. If you take too much ZYFLO CR®, call your health care provider or a Poison Control Center right away.

Do not take ZYFLO CR® if you have active liver disease or repeated blood tests showing elevated liver enzymes (substances released by the liver), or if you have ever had an allergic reaction to ZYFLO CR® or any of the ingredients in ZYFLO CR®.

Stay with ZYFLO CR® for continued symptom relief

ZYFLO CR® works uniquely to provide continued relief from your asthma symptoms. ZYFLO CR® helps stop the production of leukotrienes. Leukotrienes are chemicals that may contribute to your asthma. After you begin taking ZYFLO CR®, it is important that you take it as directed every day to help keep your asthma symptoms under control.

Once your doctor decides you should remain on ZYFLO CR®, do not decrease the dose or stop taking ZYFLO CR®, unless directed by your doctor. Changing or stopping your medications without your doctor’s direction may result in your symptoms getting worse. Keep taking your other asthma medicines as directed while taking
ZYFLO CR®. It is a good idea to keep a list of your medicines and show it to your health care provider and pharmacist when you get a new medicine.

Taking ZYFLO CR® as directed every day is important to help control your asthma over time. ZYFLO CR® is not a rescue medicine and should not be used if you need relief right away for an asthma attack. However, you can continue taking your regularly scheduled dose of ZYFLO CR® during an asthma attack.
